Amethyst, a Cove of Lavender Light
Amethyst draws the eye from pale lavender into deeper purple, interrupted by whitish clouds and darker streaks. Smooth, glossy curves catch bright, pale reflections, while fine lines remain visible through the shine. Rounded oval and softly triangular outlines give the stones their pebble-like character.
Its name comes from the Greek amethystos, reflecting an old belief about sobriety. As a symbolic thread, that story invites a thought of clear-mindedness—a gentle contrast to the cloudy patterns that soften the purple.
In an imagined cove beneath the stars, those pale reflections might become lights along a violet shoreline. Darker streaks trace little channels between them, and each whitish patch becomes a wisp of mist drifting across the water.
