Agate’s Soft Curves and Silvered Light
This agate sphere brings pale blue-grey and lavender-grey into a rounded form traced with fine white bands. Closely spaced curves give the surface a delicate rhythm, while a darker grey-brown area on the right interrupts the softer colours. Bright highlights meet deeper shading along that side and the lower edge, creating a lovely contrast across the smooth, glossy-looking surface.
Its circular outline is simple, but there is plenty within it for the eye to follow. In a tiny imagined garden, those bands might become pale paths bending beneath an arch, with grey-brown shade gathering at one side. A white line becomes a narrow ribbon of light among its curved paths and shaded corners.
