Agate: A Small Landscape of Colour
Cream and grey mingle with pale lavender in these agate stones, while tan, orange-brown and reddish-orange bring warmer notes. Curved bands wander through mottled patches, creating a mix of sweeping lines and softer, scattered colour. The surfaces look smooth and glossy, catching bright reflections along their curves.
The outlines vary from elongated and oval to roughly triangular, with irregular contours that lend the stones individual character. Their colours could become the walls of an imagined luminous cavern: pale chambers, winding grey paths and warm orange passages. It is a small world suggested by colour and pattern, with a reddish-orange opening drawing the eye beyond the lavender walls.
