Agate Keychain, Small Shores of Light
White, pale grey, dark grey and black bands wind around the open centres of these varied agate keychains. Cream-to-tan outer edges soften the palette, while their rough, granular texture contrasts with the smoother striped borders. The elongated, uneven outlines fall somewhere between an oval and a teardrop, each framing a little hollow of angular points and sparkling facets.
An orange-brown centre scattered with dark specks adds a warmer note. Tiny facets sparkle, giving the hollows their own points of light. Let the bands become an imaginary island coastline, with pale shores circling a rocky inlet; that warm, speckled centre could be a small sheltered bay.
