Tiger Eye Wing, Feathered in Gold
Golden-yellow, amber-brown and dark brown bands give this tiger eye wing pendant a richly layered surface. Broad, pale reflections sweep across its glossy face, picking out the recessed feather-like lines. A rounded upper end opens into a curved outer edge, balanced by the scalloped edge opposite.
There is a hint of an imagined bird crossing an amber sky in this wing. Its shape holds that sense of motion in the curved edge and feather-like grooves, then draws it down to the tapered lower tip.
