Aquamarine — sea-blue clarity, graceful strength and calm expression
Aquamarine is the blue to blue-green variety of beryl, the same mineral family that includes emerald, morganite and heliodor. Its colour is created primarily by iron within the crystal structure, producing shades from pale ice blue and gentle lagoon tones to richer sea blue. Often formed as transparent six-sided prisms in granitic pegmatites, Aquamarine is celebrated for its clarity, elegant structure and clean, water-like brilliance.
