The Patchwork Warmth of Strawberry Quartz
Strawberry quartz wears a warm patchwork of muted pink and reddish-brown, mingled with mustard-yellow, tan, cream and olive-brown. Rather than one even shade, its colours gather in mottled patches, with fine speckling and occasional pale streaks adding smaller details. The pocket stones have rounded edges, with outlines ranging from oval to irregularly rounded and softly triangular.
Broad, bright white reflections sweep across the smooth-looking, glossy curves, contrasting with the earthy palette. These colours might belong to an imaginary autumn woodland: pink leaves, golden clearings and darker ground gathered into pebble-like forms. In that imagined woodland, the bright reflections become openings in the canopy, letting white light through.
