Serpentine pendant – Donut 30mm

A Little Green World in Serpentine

Bright yellow-green gives this serpentine pendant its lively first impression, but a closer look reveals a more intricate surface. White patches and flecks mingle with dark grey-to-black speckles, while irregular dark lines wander between them. Across the mottled face, pale marks interrupt the green and darker details lend it a scattered rhythm.

The smooth, glossy surface catches bright highlights, echoed along the rounded outer rim. A circular opening gives the pendant an airy centre, contrasting with the richly speckled colour around it. Seen imaginatively, the pattern could be a leafy canopy with bright gaps between branches: a small green world whose dark, wandering lines stop at a rim traced with light.
