Green, shadow and a hint of pink
This raw Ruby with Zoisite brings a richly mottled palette to a chunky, uneven form. Green and grey sit among whitish and darker areas, with occasional pink-purple and warm tan notes adding another small contrast. Fine grain and reflective points give the surface plenty of texture to explore.
Its appeal is in the mixture rather than one perfectly even colour. A pale patch can make the neighbouring green more noticeable, while a darker area brings the softer tones forward. For someone who enjoys patterned raw stones, it offers an engaging combination of colours and textures, with a new little detail appearing as the piece turns.
