Rhodochrozite – XS

A little rose-pink pattern with pale ribbons

Rose-pink and coral give this small Rhodochrosite a warmly coloured face. Wavy white bands bring lighter ribbons through the pink, while grey-black patches and little darker flecks add contrast. Glossy highlights follow its smooth, rounded outline.

There is plenty of character within the modest form. One pale line curves around a warmer patch, then a darker area gives the pattern another direction. Its colour can make a thoughtful token of affection, with the individual markings keeping the stone from feeling uniform. Choose it for the pleasure of pink with depth, where light ribbons and stronger patches have room to meet.
