Quartz: Light Between the Clouds
Quartz catches the eye with colourless transparency interrupted by cloudy white and grey areas. Bright reflections cross the glossy, curved faces, and occasional small rainbow glints add a lively touch of colour. Rounded oval and more irregular pebble-like outlines give the quartz a gently uneven character, with light picking out the curves and edges.
Fine lines and small speckled areas offer quieter details to notice among the clear and cloudy patches. The appearance suggests an imagined winter window: pale mist on glass, a bright reflection, then a little flash of colour.
