Quartz – 250 - 500g

Quartz in Clear and Clouded Light

Mostly colourless quartz meets cloudy white and pale grey in a lovely contrast of clarity and softness. Bright reflections catch on flat faces, while translucent areas draw the eye between the angular outlines and the gentler cloudy patches.

Elongated, pointed forms have a different rhythm from the shorter, broader shapes. Smooth-looking faces are crossed by fine, irregular lines, adding delicate detail to those bold outlines. There is plenty to notice here without strong colour: a pale patch, a slender line, a gleaming plane.

Together, these forms suggest a tiny imagined skyline of icy towers and low, mist-covered ridges.
