Quartz, a Pale Skyline
Milky-white patches soften this quartz’s mostly colourless appearance, while grey shaded areas lend depth to its clear and cloudy sections. Bright white reflections catch along the flat faces and edges, giving the angular outlines a crisp, lively character. Some areas let the eye look inward; others are softly translucent, with fine line-like markings visible beneath the cloudiness.
The elongated, pointed shapes suggest a tiny landscape of pale towers—an imagined skyline made of light and mist.
