Pyrite’s Golden Little Landscape
Pale gold colour, silvery-white highlights and dark grey patches give pyrite a richly varied face. Bright reflections sit close to deep shadow, bringing its recesses into sharp contrast. Its rounded, slightly oval outline feels softer than the details within it: uneven edges, irregular pits and angular hollows interrupt the smooth-looking, reflective areas.
Those contrasts suggest an imagined terraced garden, with pale golden leaves above dark paths and silvery light catching the edges of each step. It is a playful way to follow the surface, from an open gleam into a shadowed hollow.
