Onyx Turtle: A World of Winding Colour
Pale green and cream mingle with amber-brown and rusty red across this Onyx Turtle candle holder. Thin grey bands thread through the warmer colours, while irregular mottled patches keep the pattern lively. Its smooth, lustrous surface catches soft highlights along the raised body, rounded rim and extended head.
Broad projecting limbs give the turtle a gently grounded outline, with a circular candle opening in its back. It could be an imagined traveller crossing a terraced landscape, carrying a small circle of candlelight through winding fields of colour. The wavy bands flow around the rounded form toward the dark eye that gives the turtle’s head its character.
