Obsidian Arrow: A Little Landscape in Dark Glass
Black and dark brown meet across this Obsidian Arrow pendant, with lighter brown tracing the margins. Bright white reflections catch on its glossy, uneven face, bringing curved depressions and ridges into view. Along some edges, translucent brown lends an unexpected softness to the jagged outline.
Obsidian is volcanic glass. Here, its glassy character offers a striking contrast: reflective surfaces held within a shape that remains irregular and sharply defined.
Those contours suggest a miniature river landscape, with terraced banks in deep shadow and light slipping along their rims. The triangular outline gathers the imagined landscape towards a pointed tip, while pronounced notches near the broader end give this arrow its distinctive silhouette.
