Moss agate – Palmstone

A little garden in moss agate

Deep forest green, softer olive and grey lend moss agate palmstones a quietly leafy character. Their broad, rounded or oval faces show fine pale branches and wavy markings among milky patches. Bright, curved reflections trace the smoothly curved edges, catching the eye against the glossy-looking surfaces.

Moss agate takes its name from moss-like inclusions: markings that can resemble tiny plant shapes. That connection offers a lovely way to look more closely, letting each branching line become a small detail to notice rather than a pattern to solve.

Imagine a gentle garden under soft mist, its greens subdued and its paths still quiet. Across the palmstone, pale branching lines and milky patches open up that leafy colour, giving the eye a new detail to follow with each look.
