Mahogany red, crossed by black
Reddish-brown and black make a bold partnership in this raw Mahogany Obsidian. Dark streaks, speckles and patches interrupt the warmer colour, while uneven faces and fine ridges give the surface plenty of texture. Small glossy areas catch bright light among the darker markings.
Its palette can suggest warm embers beside deep shadow, an imagined scene of colour rather than a perfectly even red. The angular shape adds to that expressive character. Mahogany Obsidian is a lovely choice for someone who enjoys strong contrasts, especially the way a black mark can make the neighbouring brown feel richer.
