Jade’s Clouded Green
There is a soft, clouded quality to this jade sphere: pale green mingles with whitish patches, while small tan-coloured specks give the surface a little contrast. Its smooth-looking, glossy finish catches bright white reflections across the upper curve. Around that light, the mottled pattern keeps the colour from feeling uniform, with fine pale lines crossing here and there.
The rounded form lends itself to a small daydream—a garden beneath a pale green sky, with slender paths suggested by those intersecting lines. In this imagined landscape, each crossing opens a different route, and the garden seems to continue just beyond the curve.
