Hematite’s Silver and Shadow
Silver-grey flashes meet near-black reflections in hematite. Smooth-looking, glossy surfaces catch the light in bright glints, while reddish-brown patches and fine speckling interrupt the shine. Rounded edges soften the varied outlines, from oval and elongated to roughly triangular, giving the pebble-like forms a gentler character.
Picture a luminous cavern with silver-lit walls and deep, reflective hollows. These colours suggest a miniature world where light gathers along rounded edges, and a small russet patch interrupts the gleam like an earthy seam in a shining wall.
