Hematite: Where Silver Meets Shadow
Hematite draws the eye with dark blue-grey and near-black tones, lifted by silvery-grey areas and bright reflected bands. The surfaces look smooth and glossy, while rounded edges soften outlines that range from oval and elongated to rounded-square, triangular and irregular.
Think of a sheltered cove beneath a starry sky, where dark water catches narrow ribbons of light. The reflected bands give this hematite that same glimmering character—not a uniform darkness, but deep blue-grey interrupted by a sudden flash of silver.
