Hematite Heart: Dark Shores, Bright Light
Dark charcoal-grey deepens towards black across this hematite heart, its glossy-looking face scattered with pale specks and fine lighter-grey mottling. Bright white reflections sweep across the face, while slender highlights trace the rounded lobes and softly rounded point.
Its pale flecks suggest tiny islands in an imagined dark sea, with the bright reflections becoming ribbons of light between them. Within that little world, the shallow cleft between the heart’s lobes could be a sheltered inlet—a small opening where two softly curved shores meet.
