Blue Quartz Drop — A River in Blue
Dark blue curves wander through the light blue of this blue quartz drop pendant, giving its rounded outline a lively, unhurried rhythm. The bands are irregular, bending rather than following a neat pattern. Its asymmetrical drop shape echoes those wandering lines, with curved edges and a surface that appears smooth and glossy.
Fine pale speckling brings a delicate grain to the blue, while bright white reflections make the curved surface gleam. In an imagined landscape, those darker bands might become river bends seen from above, their paths folding through a pale blue valley. The pendant holds that little scene within its uneven curves: a soft wash of colour crossed by deeper blue, with tiny pale flecks scattered between.
