Prehnite is a calcium aluminium silicate hydroxide commonly found in pale apple-green, yellow-green, white or grey forms. It often develops inside cavities and fractures in altered volcanic rocks, where mineral-rich fluids create rounded clusters, radiating fans and softly translucent surfaces with a vitreous or pearly glow.
