Chalcedony’s Soft Blue Curves
White reflections skim the glossy surfaces of these chalcedony stones, picking out pale blue-grey, deeper slate blue and grey edges. Darker mottling gives the lighter areas a little depth, while subtle curved bands offer another detail to follow. Rounded triangles, flattened ovals and longer pebble-like forms give the group a varied, gentle rhythm.
Their blue tones suggest an imagined terraced garden: curved paths, slate-coloured steps and pale light resting on smooth stone. The mottled patches become small pockets of shade, and a single curved band feels like a path bending out of sight.
